India is a land of great cultural and geographical diversities. A fascinating bicycle tour of rural countryside or wildlife sanctuaries is one of the best ways to explore and understand the beauty and charm of India. Exploring the unique rural lifestyle and a rich and varied wildlife on a bicycle at your own can be a fascinating and an unmatched experience for you. A bicycle tour provides much of freedom to the cyclist to witness the inside of the rural lifestyle.

The following sample itinerary takes you to one of India's most interesting regions, Rajasthan, an extraordinary blend of color, culture, architecture and wildlife where past and the present, people and the animals, ethnic culture and the modern lifestyle are thriving in a perfect harmony.

Day 01): Arrival Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to a hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be in the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02): Delhi
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi.

New Delhi: India's capital and an important gateway into the country, New Delhi is a vibrant metropolis and the hub of India's political activity. Designed and developed by famous English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869- 1944), New Delhi is known for its wide, tree-lined avenues, parks and palaces. In New Delhi, you will visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the president of India), India Gate - a 42m high stone memorial arch, and the mid-16th century Humayun's Tomb and more.

Old Delhi: Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, Old Delhi is known for its architectural masterpieces, crowded streets and intensely colorful bazaars. Drive past Chandni Chowk, the main street of Old Delhi and a lively shopping bazaar. Visit the magnificent Red Fort and Jama Masjid (inside visit not included for Jama Masjid), the biggest mosque in India. Later stop to visit the Raj Ghat, the place where father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948.
Welcome Cocktail and Dinner at Bistro Village Complex and overnight in the hotel.

Day 03): Delhi-Agra
After breakfast, we drive to Agra (204 Km - 4 Hrs). Check in to a hotel on arrival. After lunch, visit the magnificent Agra Fort. Later, visit the world- famous Taj Mahal, the most beautiful monument of love, known for its beauty and architectural brilliance. You can stay on for some time and view the monument changing its appearance in the soft light of the setting sun. Return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day 04): Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Bharatpur (Bicycle)  (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we drive to visit Fatehpur Sikri (47 Kms), the deserted capital of Akbar. See the Bulund Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world), Jama Masjid and the Tomb of Shaikh Salim Chisti, the great Sufi saint of India.

After lunch, start cycling for Bharatpur (22 Km). Check in to a hotel on arrival. In the evening, enjoy an excursion to Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary a "World Heritage Site". Also famous as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, it is one of the finest heronries in the world. The suitable climate combined with enough nutritious food attracts and supports over 400 species of exotic and colorful birds including winter migrants from Central Asia, Tibet, China and Siberia such as the world-famous Siberian Cranes and Bar-headed Geese. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 05): Bharatpur-Deeg (Bicycle)-Kesroli
Enjoy an early morning cycling around the sanctuary and return to hotel for breakfast. Later, start cycling to reach at Deeg (21Km). Deeg is known for its famous palaces, gardens and fountains. The famous old fortress of Deeg, which contributed substantially in the making of the Jat principality, is now in shambles. Its formidable cannons now lie abandoned in the forlorn fort.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, visit the Suraj Mahal's Palace, one of India's most beautiful and delicately proportioned buildings. Used as a residence of the
Maharajasuntil the early 1970's, most of the Palace's rooms still contain their original furnishings.
Later, drive to Kesroli. Stop for tea at Lake Palace in Siliserh, located in a scenic surrounding, overlooking a picturesque lake. Check in to the 14th century Hill Fort at Kesroli. Dinner and overnight in Kesroli.

Day 06): Kesroli-Sariska (Bicycle)
After breakfast, start (from a convenient point) cycling to famous Sariska National Park. Have your lunch en-route. Check in to Sariska Palace hotel on arrival. In the evening, enjoy an exciting and unforgettable game viewing in Sariska National Park (the best time to visit October-Feb), one of the 27 wildlife parks in India chosen for the famous 'Project Tiger', a conservation drive to save tiger population in India. Other important animals found in the park include Nilgai, Spotted Deer, and Wild Boar to name a few. After a momentous wildlife spotting, drive back to the palace. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 07): Sariska-Samode
After breakfast, we drive to Samode. Arrive at Samode and check in at Samode Palace. Lunch at Samode Palace. Afternoon at leisure to explore the beautiful Samode Palace, which's architecture is nicely blended with the topography. Intricately carved panels with enameled doors and windows, 35luxuriously appointed rooms, the palace has a lot of character. The Durbar Hall covered with original paintings and amazing mirror work is the highlight of the Samode Palace. Dinner and overnight in the palace.

Day 08): Sariska-Samode
After breakfast at Samode Bagh, we drive to the famous Amber Fort (40 Kms) at Jaipur. Enjoy an exciting elephant ride up to the fort. Visit impressive palaces notably summer and winter palace, Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), court of private audience and hall of public audience at the Amber Fort.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at Samode Haveli and then visit the City Palace and the museum which houses armory, rare fabrics and manuscripts. Later, visit the 17th century Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatory). Dinner and overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.

Day 09): Jaipur - Delhi -Tour Ends
After breakfast, we drive back to Delhi. Free time for shopping in Delhi until departure. In the evening, on time transfer to airport to board a flight for your onward destination or way back home with sweet memories of India.
